Wrapping Up the Summer Program

We would like to thank everyone who participated in Summer Reading through June! We hope you enjoyed our storytimes, crafts, elementary art sessions, and events like Mad Science with Jetpack Jason and our kick off event with Lego Guy, Cody Wells at the end of May! Be sure to let us know what your favorite part of Summer Reading was and if you had any stories you unearthed that you want to tell us about! Have a safe and happy remainder of the summer!

Kick Off Event

Summer Reading Kick Off was Thursday, May 21, 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM. We had a fantastic time with our Summer Reading Kickoff Event and celebrating our theme “Unearth a Story!” Thank you to all of our patrons who joined us, and a Big Thanks to Seneca Wholesale for their generous donation of mini-Dr. Pepper cans to include with our registration kits for our event!

It’s a season of dinosaurs, fossils, archaeology, paleontology, garden greats, gemstones, and radical rocks! What stories are hidden beneath the earth and waiting to be discovered? Find out this summer as we “Unearth A Story!”

Summer Reading Program Schedule

Preschool Story Time 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM: June 3, 10, 17, 24, and July 1 (Uncancelled!).
Elementary Story Time 1:30 PM – 2:15 PM: June 3, 10, 17, 24, and July 1 (Uncancelled!).
4th – 6th Art Time 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM: June 4, 11, 18, 25, and July 2.

Lego Guy, Cody Wells Free Build Party! 7:00 PM, Thursday, May 28.

Mad Science 10:30 AM June 16. Science edutainment with a performance flair! This is a patron favorite returning event! (Recommended for Elementary Age and kids at heart.)

End of Summer Reading Friday, July 2. Last day to turn in summer reading records for prize credit.
