Between Holidays Reading
We thought we’d display books about getting organized to give you a jump start on the new year. But when we typed Organization into the Search bar, well something else popped up! We hope you are not looking for this kind of organization at home, except for your reading pleasure. If you are looking to get organized, let us know, we’ll try a different search word, and get you on the right track.
Winter Weather Policy
Our winter weather policy in case the weatherman predicts more doom and gloom or bushels of fluffiness – you decide.
If Nemaha Central Schools close early during a school day the library will close at 5:00 that evening.
There may be times when weather quickly turns bad or street and sidewalk conditions cause us to close at 5:00 also.
We announce our weather closings on Facebook, our website, WIBW TV, and KNZA radio.
Call the library before you venture out in bad weather. If you have items due or coming due soon and the weather is bad please call us at 336-2377.

Apron Display at Library Proves to be Popular
Tie One on Day is Wednesday November 21. To celebrate, we are asked to bake a loaf of bread, wrap it in an apron and deliver it to someone in need, someone in mourning, someone who needs encouragement or maybe just because.
We thought it would be fun to have a display of aprons, old and new. We are also asking patrons to share stories and memories of aprons in their families. We’ve had a lot of fun with this display. Stop in and see for yourself! And bring an apron or story to share, if you’d like.
