Summer 2019

June at the Library was full of fun and learning. We were so busy we didn’t always have a chance to take the pictures we wanted.  ARC Wild visited twice in early June. This is a very popular program, we hope to have them come again during the school year.

Preschool Story Time with Miss Dee is always a hit too. She plans such fun stories and crafts to go with our Summer Reading theme. This year we celebrate the Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969 with A Universe of Stories.

STEM activities brought in the older children for learning fun. We have a few pictures to share. Remember, we continue this through the school year, once a month for 4th-6th grade students. Watch our Facebook page and here on our website for more information later this year.

Our last program of the summer was Mad Science of Kansas City. Their “Walking the Moon” show entertained our young patrons, they didn’t even know it was a science lesson too.

The highlight of our summer was the installation of our Music Garden!
