Apron Display at Library Proves to be Popular
Tie One on Day is Wednesday November 21. To celebrate, we are asked to bake a loaf of bread, wrap it in an apron and deliver it to someone in need, someone in mourning, someone who needs encouragement or maybe just because.
We thought it would be fun to have a display of aprons, old and new. We are also asking patrons to share stories and memories of aprons in their families. We’ve had a lot of fun with this display. Stop in and see for yourself! And bring an apron or story to share, if you’d like.
STEM Scholars Light Up in October
Our 4th~6th grade STEM scholars made a game similar to the game Operation using basic electrical circuitry. A non-complicated project that required following directions, attentiveness to details, and perseverance in following thru led to lots of satisfied smiles!
